Dash Berlin is a Dutch trance music project created in 2007 by Jeffrey Sutorius, Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn.The front man of the group is the DJ Jeffrey Sutorius, the 10th most popular DJ in the world according to DJ Mag in 2013. Sutorius initially started playing drums influenced by his late father who was a drummer in a jazz band, before discovering electronic music. He worked at BPM Dance and Mid-Town Records specializing in vinyl, with both stores becoming meeting places for many established Dutch DJ's. Molijn and Kalberg, who were deejaying as Pronti & Kalmani at the time, have credited Sutorius as a vital source of inspiration for some of their biggest records during that time
MaRLo in the music industry (with the mid-name capitalisation due to his repeated introduction as 'Mario' by radio DJ. Born in The Netherlands,'MaRLo currently resides in Australia. The music mixed and remixed by MaRLo rely heavily on electronic sounds. The primary influences for his music include trance, techno, and house music. MaRLo has signed productions to a number of trance and house super-labels such as Spinnin' Records, Armada, Black Hole Recordings and Flashover Recordings. In 2010 he was voted Australia's No. 2 Trance DJ and overall No. 11 in the Inthemix top 50 DJ Poll.While he once used hardware synthesizers (e.g. Roland JP-8000, Nord Lead, Korg Wavestation, Novation Supernova, etc.) MaRLo now produces music almost exclusively on his computer

The history of Beyond Wonderland extends back before its inaugural 2010 date. The first festival was held at the National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino, California. Insomniac Events announced the conception of Beyond Wonderland to be considered as the sister festival of Nocturnal Wonderland (formerly known as Nocturnal Festival). It seemed as Nocturnal matured, the environment became considerably different.Fans of Insomniac Events called for a return to the past vibrant environment that the Nocturnal Festival once hailed. Insomniac believed Beyond Wonderland could provide this environment.
The festival features multiple stages of electronic dance music artists with such genres as: House, Trance, Dubstep, Drum and Bass, and ambient. The festival has also been known for features such as a light maze, many modern art sculptures, and poi dancers.
